Stories of my
travels

I haven't traveled anywhere in a while (the perils of living in the US without a driver license!). As I am taking in the frenzy of New York, I thought I would start to write about my story of how I got my travel bug.

Where next?

It was a cold month in 2017 and I was visiting family in New York. I was tired after traveling for almost a year and a half. Although I had bought tickets and got a visa to go to Turkey, I decided to stay and rest here. I have regretted that decision ever since I left Europe, and so it's at the top of my list.

Cappadocia
Turkey

Turkey is a large peninsula that bridges the continents of Europe and Asia. Once the centre of the Ottoman Empire, the modern secular republic was established in the 1920s by nationalist leader Kemal Ataturk.

Greece
Greece

Situated in the far south of the Balkan peninsula, Greece combines the towering mountains of the mainland with over 1,400 islands, the largest of which is Crete. Greece has the longest coastline in Europe and is the southernmost country in Europe.

Japan
Japan

Japan is an archipelago in East Asia. It is located at the western end of the Pacific Ocean, east of the Sea of Japan, and is adjacent to the People’s Republic of China, Korea and Russia. Because Japan consists of 6,852 islands is called an archipelago Island.
